HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, the party’s founders and officials, NGO representatives, academics, members of the press, and numerous invitees attended the event, which was held by HÜDA PAR Headquarters at Sezai Karakoç Culture Center in Yenişehir district.

Speaking at the event, Hamdullah Er, the head of HÜDA PAR youth branches, called for a change to the education system in Turkey.

“The distorted education system based on imposing ideology and blunting talents must be completely changed”

Underlining that the distorted education system based on imposing ideology and dulling talents must be changed completely, Hamdullah Er said: “Instead, an education system based on our own civilizational values, focused on discovering and developing the talents of individuals, aiming to gain interdisciplinary skills, and aiming at providing the spiritual development of young people should be presented as a gift. The system that creates unemployed people with diplomas who run from exams to exams and cannot be assigned a job at the end should go, and no university graduate should be left unemployed. The quality and quantity of vocational and technical schools should be increased. When one graduates from these schools, the social dignity, and prestige of the craft must be ensured.”

“The latest increase in scholarships has been insufficient and has ruined the expectations of young people”

Noting that the latest increase in scholarships has been insufficient and has destroyed the expectations of young people, Hamdullah Er stated: “Considering the 84.39 percent annual inflation in the country, the increase in scholarships should be updated again. The credit system should be abolished and all students should be provided with non-refundable scholarships as a requirement of being a social state. This scholarship must be capable of fulfilling the eating, drinking, sheltering, clothing, cultural and artistic activities of each young person. Married young people should be given more scholarships.”

“Millions spent on concerts, festivals and similar events should be used for the essential needs of young people.”

“Political and social pressure blunts the material and moral abilities of young people. We want to express our ideas and thoughts freely and without fear. Every thought that does not contain slander or insult should be able to be expressed. But telling the truth, voicing wrongdoing should not be considered an insult and should not be the subject of police stations and courts. People's property is being spent on unnecessary and even harmful works, even though we do not want it, on the pretext that the young people want it. Millions spent on concerts, festivals and similar events should be used for the essential needs of young peoplea. Opportunity and injustice should be prevented in public procurement, and the principle of competence and merit should be put into action rather than rhetoric. No young person should be afraid to express their thoughts and ideas for fear of “being a hindrance” in public procurement. “

“The state has to protect young people from getting involved in haram”

He concluded as follows: “We have millions of young people who postpone starting a home because of their livelihood concerns. The path of virtuous and moral youth is to get married and establish a family. The state has to protect young people from getting involved in haram. For this reason, a marriage fund should be established for young people who cannot get married, and marriage should be encouraged. In addition, married dormitories should be established for those who got married while they were students or who want to get married. Distinguished guests, youth is the motor power, dynamic, excitement, and love of a movement! We, as HÜR GENÇLIK, will be the most important power of our party, HUDA PAR, in the upcoming 2023 elections…” (ILKHA)
