Magnitude 4.8 earthquake strikes southern Turkey
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 hit a town in southern Turkey, according to the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency.
The earthquake occurred at 21:13 (TSI) on Sunday near the town of Kırıkhan, situated in the Hatay province.
The tremor was felt in many nearby provinces, including Adana, Kilis, Gaziantep, and Mersin, according to local reports.
