Soylu said that they had a productive meeting with the Bulgarian delegation, adding that it had been the 13^th meeting between the two countries’ Interior Ministers in the last 15 months.

“Ankara and Sofia have been working together for a long time, especially on migrant smuggling, human smuggling, and border security to stop the irregular migration flow and to prevent it. We have a common agreement to exchange information and to continue the same efforts without pause in this respect, ,” Soylu said at a news conference with his Bulgarian counterpart Ivan Demerdzhiev in Istanbul.
