Japan help to improve Afghanistan’s economy: Ambassador
Afghan Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi has received Takashi Okada, the Japanese ambassador to Kabul.
At the meeting, the Japanese ambassador assured that his country will increase aid to Afghanistan.
Muttaqi thanked Japan for the assistance of $106 million dollars and the positive diplomatic interaction with Afghanistan.
For his part, ambassador Okada said that they are discussing with the international community to find ways to improve the Afghan economy.
He said that his country intends to increase its aid in Afghanistan in the areas of people’s livelihood, to find an alternative to replace the cultivation of poppy, treatment of drug addicts, and other sectors. (ILKHA)
