Afghan Foreign Ministry condemns attack on Pakistan embassy
The Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan condemned the shooting and failed attack on the Pakistani embassy in Kabul.
“The Islamic Emirate will never allow selfish people to compromise the security of diplomatic missions in Kabul,” the Ministry said.
“Security agencies will investigate this incident seriously, and after identifying the perpetrators, legal punishment will be given,” the Ministry added.
On Friday, the embassy came under attack and a Pakistani security guard was wounded by gunfire.
Pakistan described the attack as an attempt to assassinate its head of mission, who was unhurt. (ILKHA)
