Zionist regime’s aircraft strikes several targets in Gaza Strip
The Zionist regime’s warplanes bombed different areas of the Gaza Strip at dawn Sunday, causing widespread panic among local residents.
According to Palestinian security sources, the zionist occupation army carried out dawn aerial attacks on a resistance post in the southwest of Gaza and swaths of cultivated land in Khan Yunis and Rafah.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said its fighters fired anti-aircraft guns and missiles at the warplanes.
The Brigades also said that its fighters responded to the israeli attacks by opening fire at zionist settlements near the border with Gaza.
The Hebrew media quoted a spokesperson for the zionist army as saying that the airstrikes were launched after one rocket from Gaza landed in an open area in southern Israel.
For its part, the Hamas Movement said that the Palestinian resistance would not allow the zionist occupation entity to change what it called “the equations on the ground” and would continue to defend its people across the occupied territories.
“The Zionist enemy has expanded its aggression against our people by brutally bombing the Gaza Strip following its crime yesterday when it cold-bloodedly killed Ammar Mufleh in Huwara,” Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem said in press remarks on Sunday.
“Such terrorism and Nazi behavior will not stop our people’s growing revolution, and we will continue to support their uprising everywhere,” the spokesman added. (ILKHA)
