Hamas calls for continued mobilization to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque
Mohammed Hamada, Hamas spokesperson in Occupied Jerusalem, called on the Palestinian people to intensify their presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
"We are witnessing a sensitive stage that needs a popular mobilization," he said in a statement issued on Thursday, noting that the ribat in Al-Aqsa Mosque is a duty for all Palestinians.
Palestinian presence at the Mosque will put an end to the colonial settlers’ incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and their schemes to desecrate it, he added.
He further stressed the need to unite all Palestinian efforts in support of the resistance option, holding the occupation fully responsible for 'any foolishness it commits against Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.'
The warning came as Jewish settler groups are planning for a mass break-in into Al-Aqsa Mosque on the so-called “Hanukah holiday” on December 18, 2022. (ILKHA)
