Muttaqi said to Pakistan’s chargé d’affaires that the treatment of the Pakistani police towards Afghans recently is unfair, provocative, and to the detriment of both countries.

He asked the Pakistani embassy to address the problems and provide facilities in the field of issuing visas, to prevent delays and obstacles for Afghan travelers.

For his part, Pakistan’s chargé d’Affaires in Afghanistan, Obaid ur Rehman Nizamani, swore to share the given messages with his officials and assured to address the concerns.

Nizamani said that Pakistan and Afghanistan are two neighboring Muslim countries and have religious, cultural, and economic commonalities.

He added that his government does not allow anyone to make the space between the two countries tense.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Foreign Ministry, called on the Pakistani embassy after the Ministry reacted to the mistreatment of the Pakistani police against Afghans in Pakistan to address such concerns and prevent further mistreatment of police against Afghan refugees living in that country.
