International media distorts facts about Afghanistan—Interior Minister
The acting Interior Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Alhaj Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani met with Jacky Martens, the head of the South Asia Bureau of BBC.
Welcoming Jacky Martens, Interior Minister Haqqani called the BBC an important media outlet at the international level.
“We want those International media outlets who have a wide area of coverage to be impartial and especially about Afghanistan,” Haqqani said.
The Islamic Emirate has fulfilled unprecedented developments, but unfortunately, the international media has given a political color to some non-political and internal issues said Haqqani, and assured them of the IEA cooperation.
According to the Ministry of Interior statement, at the end of the meeting, Jacky Martens thanked minister Haqqani, and added that Afghanistan is important for them and they will strive to cover many areas and developments. (ILKHA)
