The premier also pledged to strongly support Palestinian rights during international events and meetings.

The Hamas leader, for his part, congratulated Anwar Ibrahim on his appointment as prime minister and wished him and his new government every success in assuming their duties and retaining their country’s leading stature in the Islamic world. (ILKHA)
