European Union to continue to provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan met with the European Union’s Chargé d’Affaires for Afghanistan, Raphaela Ayubia.
Deputy PM Mawlavi Abdul Kabir welcomed Raphaela Ayubia said that the Islamic Emirate is thankful for the humanitarian aid of the international community, especially the European Union, and stressed positive interaction with European Union, according to the deputy PM’s press office.
The people of Afghanistan are facing a difficult time, cause of natural disasters and other economic issues and the international community should continue its assistance, he added during the meeting.
The Islamic Emirate ensures the security of all donors and transparent distribution of aid to the needy, Kabir assured.
“Women’s rights are certain within the framework of Islamic Sharia law, women are busy working in different sectors and the government is practically a collective, but some media are making false propaganda on this issue.” He spoke.
” 414 people have returned to the country the efforts of the commission for liaison with Afghan political figures, the general amnesty is in place and all continue their lives in a safe environment”. He added.
Ayubia thanked the Islamic Emirate’s leadership and staff for their cooperation in providing aid to the people of Afghanistan, adding: “the European Union will continue to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan and said that humanitarian aid should pre-political condition”.
Ayubia also asked the international community to increase humanitarian aid to the Afghans ahead of winter and said: “European Union is staying here and our cooperation will continue”. (ILKHA)
