Tesla recalls more than 15,000 electric vehicles over faulty tail lights
The recall affects 15,914 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in Australia sold in 2022, the company announced on Thursday.
The company warned that “if the traffic behind is unable to identify the vehicle, it could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”
“This recall is addressed by updating the vehicle software, which does not require the customer to schedule a service appointment. The software release that contains the remedy has deployed over-the-air (OTA) to all affected vehicles,” it added. (ILKHA)
