Rocket attacks from Syria kill at least 3 people in southeastern Türkiye
At least three people were killed and six others were wounded in rocket attacks on Monday in the southeastern Gaziantep province’s Karkamış district near the Syrian border.
Five rockets were reportedly fired from northern Syria, one of them hitting a school, leaving six people injured, two of them seriously.
“As a result of the mortar attack in Karkamış, 3 people lost their lives. One of those who lost their life is a teacher and one is a student. 10 people were injured,” Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said.
On Sunday, at least eight security personnel, including seven police officers and one soldier, were injured in a similar rocket attack from Syria. (ILKHA)
