The photographs in which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan issued the order to launch the "Air Operation Claw-Sword" on PKK/YPG bases in northern Iraq and Syria were released.

National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar is seen briefing President Erdoğan following his visit to Indonesia in the photographs.

It was reported that Erdoğan gave the instruction for the operation based on the information Akar provided.

Early Sunday morning, the Turkish Air Force launched a series of airstrikes against PKK/YPG members in Northern Syria and Iraq, dubbed Operation Claw-Sword.

The airstrikes were reportedly launched in response to the bombing. (ILKHA)
