North Korea fires two ballistic missiles towards Sea of Japan
North Korea has fired two short-range ballistic missiles toward the Sea of Japan, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a press release sent to reporters.
The missiles were launched at 11:59 am and 12:18 pm local time on Friday (01:59 GMT and 02:18 GMT).
“The North's ballistic missile launches this time are acts of significant provocation that undermine peace and stability not only on the Korean Peninsula but also in the international community,” JCS said.
The missiles were launched from North Korea’s Gangwon Province, it noted.
So far, North Korea has test-fired 46 ballistic missiles in 2022. (ILKHA)
