NATO holds European nuclear deterrence exercises
NATO is holding long-planned annual nuclear exercises code-named Steadfast Noon in northwestern Europe.
Fourteen NATO member countries are taking part in the exercises, which involve around 60 aircraft including fighter jets and surveillance and refueling planes.
As in previous years, US B-52 long-range bombers are taking take part this year.
Training flights are taking place over Belgium, which is hosting the exercise, as well as over the North Sea and the United Kingdom. (ILKHA)
