The number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 8.3% compared with the previous month

 In September, compared to the previous month, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 26.0% for tractors and 15.9% for small trucks while it decreased by 17.3% for cars, 16.5% for special purpose vehicles, 10.2% for trucks, 10.1% for buses, 9.1% for motorcycles and 5.7% for minibuses.

The number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 10.2% compared to the same month of the previous year

In September, compared to the same month of the previous year, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 61.0% for trucks, 38.9% for motorcycles, 25.7% for small trucks and 6.7% for buses while it decreased by 57.5% for minibuses, 15.0% for special purpose vehicles, 10.5% for cars and 0.8% for tractors.

In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the new registered cars in September, Fiat recorded 13.6%, Renault 11.3%, Volkswagen 10.0%, Hyundai 8.4%, Toyota 7.1%, Dacia 6.8%, BMW 4.5%, Kia 4.3%, Mercedes-Benz 4.0%, Citroen 4.0%, Honda 4.0%, Opel 3.9%, Skoda 3.1%, Peugeot 2.9%, Ford 2.2%, Volvo 1.7%, Cupra 1.2%, Audi 1.2%, Nissan 1.0%, Suzuki 0.8% and the other trademarks 4.1% of the total.

In the period of January- September, 907 thousand 499 road motor vehicles were registered

In the January-September period, compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of registered vehicles decreased by 0.6% and became 907 thousand 499, while the number of withdrawn road motor vehicles decreased by 13.1% and became 27 thousand 66. Hence, in the period of January-September, the increase in motor vehicles registered became 880 thousand 433. 

In the period of January-September, the ratio of cars registered using gasoline was 70.2%Among 410 thousand 513 cars registered in the period of January-September, the share of gasoline-fuelled cars was 70.2% followed by diesel-fuelled cars with 18.1%, electric or hybrid cars with 9.6% and LPG-fuelled cars with 2.1%. At the end of September, among 14 million 113 thousand 925 registered cars, the share of diesel-fuelled cars was 37.1% followed by LPG-fuelled cars with 35.3% and gasoline-fuelled cars at 26.4%. The share of electric or hybrid cars was 0.9% and the cars with unknown fuel type was 0.3%.

The most frequent engine size was 1300 or less for registered cars in the January-September period

Within 410 thousand 513 cars registered to traffic in January-September period, 32.6% had 1300 or less, 27.2% had 1401-1500, 23.5% had 1301-1400, 9.1% had 1501-1600, 5.7% had 1601-2000, 0.8% had 2001 and above engine size.

In the January-September period, 165 thousand 948 of cars registered were white
