38 rebels killed in Afghanistan’s Badakhshan province
Afghan security forces killed at least 38 and arrested 78 others in the recent raids in the country’s northern Badakhshan province, the provincial head of the information and culture department said Monday.
“At the cleanup operations in Shiwa, Arghanj Khwa and Ragh districts over the last week, 38 armed rebels have been killed and 78 others arrested,” Qari Maazudin Ahmadi told the reporters.
Ahmadi also said that three Afghan soldiers were killed and five others injured in the operations. (ILKHA)
