PKK is the worst calamity that has befallen the Kurds--HÜDA PAR
“PKK is the Dahhak of the 21st century and the worst disaster that has befallen the Kurds,” said Şehmus Tanrıkulu, the deputy chairman of HÜDA PAR (Free Cause Party).
Tanrıkulu attended the commemoration ceremony of Fethi Yalçın and Cengiz Tiryaki, who were martyred by PKK members in the Karlıova district of Bingöl province.
Many political figures and citizens participated in the part in the ceremony, which was held in the Conference Hall of the Grand Mosque in Karlıova.
The event started with recitation from Holy Quran, then continued with a slaty show regarding the life and struggle of the Martyrs.
“The PKK has been the greatest calamity that has befallen the Kurds since its establishment for more than 40 years. The PKK is the Dahhak of the 21st century because it has killed tens of thousands of people, regardless of women, civilians, and children. There has never been such a treacherous and barbaric organization among the Kurds that betrayed its people. This is not only financial damage, because the Kemalist system and regime, which could not turn Kurds away from their religion, especially after the establishment of the Republic, gave this task to a barbarian and murderous organization with a Marxist mindset. Unfortunately, it succeeded, at least in part, to drive the Kurds away from their faith and eliminate the concept of honor among the Kurds,” Tanrıkulu said.
Stating that PKK has acted as a proxy of external forces since day one, Tanrıkulu went on to say: “It strives to prevent the spread of Islam among the Kurds, to abolish the customs and traditions of the Kurds, and to apply the perverted ideas imposed by the West, both practically and theoretically. While doing that, it always sees Islamic groups as a rival. Therefore, it targets our party and non-governmental organizations that make efforts to return to our civilizational values by carrying out Islamic activities.”
“With the support of the media, the PKK tried to make the public forget the massacres they committed,” Tanrıkulu said, adding: “But they only managed to hide their massacre until the footage of the murdering of the martyr Yasin and her friends. Because this footage dropped the masks on their faces. This treacherous and apostate organization has undertaken the task of completely eliminating and converting our people, who have always come to the forefront by being a pioneer, raising Islamic scholars, and supporting the Islamic Ummah since they accepted Islam, in order to make Kurdistan a 'Kafiristan' (the land of apostates).”
“Our party’s strenuous activities caused them to get in panic”
Between 2004 and 2011, they began to get angry with our activities through NGOs, such as engaging in social and cultural activities and protecting poor and needy families, and they attacked our brothers, organizations, and associations again. They carried out about attacks against our institutions till the closure of Mustazaf Der. After the inception of HÜDA PAR in 2012, we launched our political activities for local and general elections, becoming a candidate for mayorships and power. So, we started to share our rhetoric and ideas more strongly with our people, which made the apostate and treacherous organization even more alarmed. Not only them but the United States, the great devil, holding their leash worried as well. And it is not a coincidence that they attacked our organizations after every meeting with the USA.” (ILKHA)
