Rocket attacks hit US military base in eastern Syria
Massive explosions were heard and clashes were reported Saturday evening near the Omar oil field in the Syrian province of Deir Ez-Zor.

Rocket shelling targeted the Omar oil field base that is occupied by the US military, local sources reported.
The US forces in the field retaliated by shelling agricultural areas on the outskirts of Al-Mayadin.
