The event, which was held in two sessions at the Batman Provincial Directorate of Culture Conference Hall, will kick off at 10:00 and be broadcast live on Rehber TV.

Mulla Beşir Şimşek will deliver the opening speech of the event which will start with recitation from the Holy Quran

Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding the event, Mehmet Emin Sütçü, the spokesman of Quranic Generation Platform, said: “We know that just as prayer prevents people from committing indecency, not performing prayers is the main source of widespread indecency and ugliness. Because coming to the presence of Allah five times a day develops the consciousness of accountability and a sense of responsibility while turning away from prayer pushes people to idleness and therefore to irresponsibility.”

“Therefore, we will organize a 'Prayer Workshop' on Sunday, October 23, with the theme of 'Life is Beautiful with Prayer', in order to increase the awareness of praying in the community,” he added. (ILKHA)
