At least 50 people killed in Chad protests
At least 50 people were killed when Chadian security forces opened fire on anti-government demonstrators in Chad’s two largest cities.
More than 30 people were dead in protests in the capital, N'Djamena, Chadian government spokesperson Aziz Mahamat Saleh said. However, organizers of the march, though, placed the toll higher, at 40.
According to local sources, another 32 protesters were killed in Moundou, Chad's second-largest city.
It was reported that more than 60 people also were wounded. (ILKHA)
