In the second session of the meeting, moderated by Artuklu University Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Tekin, Batman University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Şemsettin Dursun made a presentation on "The Role of Science in Moral and Spiritual Education and Creating Awareness of the Law".

"Man is a small universe and the essence of the universe. Man is a notable creature, he is the most honorable, the most honorable, the most valuable of creatures," said Dursun and added: "God created man uniquely because God loved man so much. God created man uniquely because God loved man very much. Is it not sacrificed or thanked to Allah, the only Creator? If we live our lives in the shadow of praise and gratitude, and if we do not disobey his orders, Allah will accept our thanks.”

Dursun said: “Education is defined as gaining skills and experience in a certain subject in a certain branch of science, raising and developing. In other words, it is to help generations to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding to take their place in social life. Another synonym of education is discipline."

"The greatest value we can give a person is attention"

Dursun continued his remarks as follows: "Morality is a very important concept. Morality is our behavior. Imam Shafi says: Islam is the religion of the state, not the religion of the stay. Islam is the religion of life, not the religion of discourse. If our discourses and actions overlap, they have a meaning.

Are we aware of our values, our potential? God has given us so many blessings that I cannot count.

We are people who are commanded to tread gently even on the ground. We have to touch people's hearts in a right and gentle way with a beautiful word. We have to catch aesthetics with words so that our actions become aesthetic. The word is the interpreter of both intentions and deeds.

Sadi Shirazi says: Wrong style is the executioner of the right word. Our style should always be sincere, genuine, special, fluent, gentle and delicate.

In math, 1/0 is infinity. This is a mathematical proof. Therefore, the ulama have infinite values in the heart and soul of humanity.

Turks, Kurds, Arabs and Persians, if 4 nations come together, 4 will make 1. What happens when these four 1 are side by side, arm in arm? It becomes 1111. If we break up and serialize, those 4 1's have a value of 4. So, look, we're down from 1111 to 4. In that respect, the Union is very important.

The greatest value we can give a person is attention. The greatest value and gift you can give to a parent's child, a teacher's student, a child's parents, and a teacher is attention. Paying attention is very important.

There is a saying of a wise man: If you neglect the children and young people of that city while you are building a city, neglected young people and the children will destroy the city you have built. I also say: if you neglect the children of that family while building and rebuilding a family, the children and youth you neglect will rebuild and destroy the family you have built. Unfortunately, our region has experienced this situation.
