HÜDA PAR: Rapprochement between Turkiye and zionist entity is unacceptable

In his party’s weekly statement on domestic and international issues, Serkan Ramanlı, a spokesman for HÜDA PAR, stressed that it would be to the detriment of Turkey and the people of the region to develop relations with a tyrannical zionist regime whose existence is illegitimate.

Reminding that Turkey appointed an ambassador to the zionist regime after four years, Ramanlı stated that the government, which had the Mavi Marmara case dropped first, is now in the process of improving relations with the Zionist occupation regime.

"It is never acceptable to normalize relations with the occupation regime while the violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque have increased, the embargo on Gaza continues and the homes of Palestinians are destroyed on their heads." Ramanlı said and added: “In the last one year, the largest Jewish immigration of the past 20 years has taken place in the occupied territories. The Zionist regime, which wants to use the Russia-Ukraine war in its favor, calls on all Jews to settle in the lands they occupy. The Zionist regime, which carried out ethnic and religious genocide in the Palestinian territories, aims to completely change the demographic structure of the region. The Zionist regime, which occupies the Golan Heights in Syria and threatens Lebanon, clearly shows that it is a threat to the entire region. However, it is mostly supported by the governments of Muslim countries. The struggle must be fought not to establish relations with these zionist invaders, whose existence is illegitimate, but to hold accountable for the occupation and massacre.”

Greece's killings of refugees

Ramanlı said that the poverty and security concerns brought about by the wars and conflicts in Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and other geographies forced people to leave their places and made them refugees.

Ramanlı said: "Refugees trying to cross into Europe are unfortunately exposed to inhuman practices and attacks by European countries, especially Greece, as well as struggling with the raging waters of the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas. It has been 9 years since the disaster in which 368 immigrants, including 9 children, 83 women, died on 3 October 2013 off the Italian island of Lampedusa. The United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mediterranean branch, in its statement, announced that the number of migrants who lost their lives in the 9 years since this event, which is one of the major disasters in the central part of the Mediterranean, is approximately 25 thousand.”

Ramanlı concluded his remarks as follows: “The units of the Greek Coast Guard systematically push back the boats of refugees, sinking them in the middle of the sea, torturing the refugees they caught at the border by stripping them naked in the middle of winter, and releasing them to the Turkish border. This is a kind of murder and a disgrace to all humanity. It is a crime under international law. These practices, which are downright murderous, should be scrutinized and ended by international organizations. If Greece continues these acts, which are crimes against humanity, deterrent sanctions should be applied.” (ILKHA)
