32 Ukrainian soldiers freed in prisoner swap with Russia
Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, said that 32 Ukrainian soldiers have been released in a new exchange of prisoners with Russia.
“Another POWs swap was held today. We managed to free 32 of our soldiers and recover Israeli citizen Dmytro Fialka's body. Among the liberated are officers, sergeants and soldiers of AFU. They have been in places of fierce fighting. Many of these people were considered missing,” Yermak said in a statement on Twitter.

The first large prisoner exchange took place on 24 March, when 10 Russian and 10 Ukrainian soldiers, as well as 11 Russian and 19 Ukrainian civilian sailors, were exchanged.
On 1 April, 86 Ukrainian servicemen were exchanged for an unknown number of Russian troops.
On September 22, Kyiv and Moscow conducted a major prisoner swap, with 215 Ukrainian and foreign fighters released in exchange for more than 50 Russian prisoners, and pro-Kremlin Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Medvedchuk, a close Putin ally. (ILKHA)
