Russia fires over 83 missiles to attack Ukraine
Russian forces have fired over 83 missiles, and used 17 Shahed drones to attack Ukraine, Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar said.
Russia launched missile strikes on Kyiv, Lviv, Pryluky, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipro, Nizhyn, Zhytomyr, and Kharkiv from the Caspian Sea and Nizhny Novgorod regions, Maliar reported.
“We are united and stronger than ever and we cannot be defeated. Now, rescuers and energy workers are working effectively at all affected facilities. The enemy cannot win this war on the battlefield, so he decided to deprive us of light and heat. Yes, we may have temporary difficulties, but only temporary - we will restore and rebuild everything. This is the main mistake of the enemy - to think that we can be broken or intimidated,” Maliar said in a statement on Facebook.
On Monday morning, after the announcement of a large-scale air alert, several explosions rang out in the Shevchenkivskyi and Solomianskyi District of Kyiv.
According to Rostyslav Smirnov, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, at least 24 people were injured, 8 were killed, as a result of several hits in different places in Kyiv. (ILKHA)
