Magnitude 5.5 earthquake strikes Java, Indonesia
A magnitude 5.5 earthquake hit Java, Indonesia, on Sunday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
According to the center, the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 50 km (31.07 miles).
The earthquake did not have the potential to trigger a tsunami, the country’s Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency said. (ILKHA)
