Strong magnitude 5.1 earthquake strikes Greece
A magnitude 5.1 earthquake hit in the Gulf of Corinth in central Greece early on Sunday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 2 kilometers below the earth’s surface, in the Gulf of Corinth separating mainland Greece from the Peloponnese peninsula, EMSC said.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage, according to Greek officials. (ILKHA)
