Türkiye extends condolences to victims of Thailand’s mass shooting
Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a press release regarding the shooting at a preschool in Thailand.
“We are deeply saddened to learn that more than 30 people, mostly children, have lost their lives after a mass shooting at a preschool in Thailand,” the Ministry said.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives as well as to the friendly people and the Government of Thailand and wish speedy recovery to the injured,” the Ministry added.
On Thursday, 34-year-old Panya Khamrab killed 38 people by shooting or stabbing in Nong Bua Lamphu province, Thailand. The attack mainly occurred in a children's nursery located in the Uthai Sawan subdistrict of the Na Klang district.
It is the deadliest mass murder by a single perpetrator ever recorded in Thailand, surpassing the death toll of the Nakhon Ratchasima shootings in 2020. (ILKHA)
