Afghanistan calls on international community to have positive interaction with IEA
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said that the international community should have positive interaction with the Islamic Emirate instead of expressing unnecessary concerns.
At the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, some countries, including the United States and Pakistan, expressed their concern about Afghanistan, claiming that there is still a threat of terrorism from Afghanistan.
In response to these claims, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan published a statement, saying that the territory of Afghanistan will never be used against anyone, and that there are no armed groups in Afghanistan.
The concerns rise at a time while the United Nations organization still not ready to give Afghanistan its right by accepting its representative, which is the legal and political right of the Afghan government.
Rejecting their baseless allegations, the Ministry said that their concerns are based on incorrect information and sources.
“If the Afghan government is given its right, it will be an opportunity to share the realities that exist in Afghanistan with the region and the world, and there may be no concerns,” the Ministry stated.
The Ministry also called on the international community to have positive interaction with the Islamic Emirate instead of voicing unnecessary concerns and accusations, and share their views and concerns with the Islamic Emirate face-to-face instead of media or announcements. (ILKHA)
