The number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 0.1% compared with the previous month

In August, compared to the previous month, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 79.8% for minibuses, 47.3% for special purpose vehicles, 31.8% for buses, 21.5% for motorcycles, 18.1% for trucks and 14.6% for tractors, while it decreased by 17.5% for small trucks and 11.7% for cars.

The number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 16.5% compared to the same month of the previous year

 In August, compared to the same month of the previous year, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 71.2% for trucks, 40.3% for buses, 40.2% for motorcycles, 34.4% for tractors, 22.5% for special purpose vehicles, 4.3% for cars, while it decreased by 30.6% for minibuses and 6.1% for small trucks.

At the end of August, the total number of road motor vehicles registered reached 26 million 29 thousand 230

At the end of August, cars represented 54.1%, small trucks 16.2%, motorcycles 15.3%, tractors 7.9%, trucks 3.5%, minibuses 1.9%, buses 0.8% and special purpose vehicles 0.3% of total number of road motor vehicles registered.

748 thousand 879 road motor vehicles were handed over in August

Among vehicles handed over in August, cars accounted for 63.8% followed by small trucks 16.7%, motorcycles 10.4%, tractors 3.9%, trucks 2.3%, minibuses 2.1%, buses 0.6% and special purpose vehicles 0.2%.

In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the new registered cars in August, Fiat recorded 20.7%, Renault 12.5%, Volkswagen 9.5%, Dacia 7.7%, Hyundai 6.9%, Toyota 5.6%, Opel 5.2%, Peugeot 3.6%, Citroen 3.4%, Mercedes-Benz 3.4%, Kia 3.3%, Honda 2.8%, BMW 2.6%, Ford 2.3%, Skoda 2.2%, Volvo 1.7%, Audi 1.6%, Seat 0.7%, Nissan 0.6%, Suzuki 0.6% and the other trademarks 3.0% of the total.

In the period of January-August 804 thousand 993 road motor vehicles were registered

In January-August period, compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of registered vehicles decreased by 1.9% and became 804 thousand 993 while the number of withdrawn road motor vehicles decreased by 10.6% and became 24 thousand 479. Hence, in the period of January-August the increase in motor vehicles registered became 780 thousand 514. 

In the period of January-August, the ratio of cars registered using gasoline was 70.2%

Among 370 thousand 682 cars registered in the period of January-August, the share of gasoline-fuelled cars was 70.2% followed by diesel-fuelled cars with 17.5%, electric or hybrid cars with 10.1% and LPG-fuelled cars with 2.2%. At the end of August, among 14 million 74 thousand 317 registered cars, the share of diesel-fuelled cars was 37.1% followed by LPG-fuelled cars with 35.3% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 26.4%. The share of electric or hybrid cars was 0.9% and the cars with unknown fuel type was 0.3%.

Most frequent engine size was 1300 or less for registered cars in January-August period

Within 370 thousand 682 cars registered to traffic in January-August period, 33.4% had 1300 or less, 26.9% had 1401-1500, 23.4% had 1301-1400, 8.9% had 1501-1600, 5.7% had 1601-2000, 0.7% had 2001 and above engine size.

In January-August period 151 thousand 588 of cars registered were white

Within 370 thousand 682 cars registered to traffic in January-August period, 40.9% of them were white, 27.8% were grey, 11.3% were blue, 7.4% were red, 7.3% were black, 2.8% were orange, 1.2% were green, 0.6% were brown and 0.6% were yellow. (ILKHA)
