Palestine: Director of Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque released after brief detention
Zionist occupation forces released the director of the al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem, Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani, a few hours after his arrest early on Monday.
Zionist police forces raided the home of al-Kiswani in al-Tur neighborhood in the occupied city and took him into custody.
The zionist police also confiscated a computer and a number of mobile phones during the raid.
Al-Kiswani's arrest came a few hours after he gave press statements exposing the israeli violations in al-Aqsa Mosque.
Al-Kiswani was earlier threatened to be denied access to al-Aqsa Mosque over his statements against israeli attacks on the holy site. (ILKHA)
