Magnitude 4.9 earthquake strikes eastern Türkiye
A 4.9 magnitude earthquake hit the Çat district of Türkiye's eastern Erzurum province late Friday, the country's emergency agency said.
The earthquake occurred at 23:30 TSI, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency.
The earthquake was felt in nearby provinces, including Diyarbakır, Bingöl, Muş, Erzincan, Tunceli, Kars, and Bayburt, local sources reported.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage after the quake. (ILKHA)
