The number of persons in the labor force realized as 34 million 52 thousand persons with 262 thousand persons decrease in July 2022 compared to the previous month.

Labor force participation rate was 52.6% with 0.5 percentage point decrease. Also, this rate was 70.7% for men, it was 34.9% for women.

Seasonally adjusted youth unemployment rate was 19.1%

 The youth unemployment rate in the 15-24 age group was 19.1% with 0.8 percentage point decrease compared to the previous month. While this rate was estimated 16.2% for men and 24.7% for women.

Seasonally and calendar adjusted average weekly actual working hours was 43.1

 Seasonally and calendar adjusted average weekly actual working hours of persons at work during the reference period decreased by 1.2 hours and estimated 43.1 hours compared to the previous month in July 2022.

Seasonally adjusted composite measure of labor underutilization rate realized as 22.5%

 In July 2022, the rate of composite measure of labor underutilization consisting of time-related underemployment, potential labor force and unemployment was 22.5% with 2.0 percentage point increase compared to the previous month.

While combined rate of time-related underemployment and unemployment realized as 15.1%, combined rate of unemployment and potential labor force estimated as 18.0%. (ILKHA)
