A ZOF spokesperson claimed the young man attacked a zionist soldier at a military checkpoint in the area with a hammer before the soldier opened fire and killed him, adding that the young man was found in possession of a knife.

The spokesperson also said that the soldier was slightly injured in the alleged attack.

Earlier, a Hebrew media source claimed that the young man threw stones and a Molotov cocktail at the soldier before the latter opened fire at him.

Meanwhile, a number of Palestinian citizens suffered injuries during dawn and morning ZOF raids in the cities of Nablus and Jenin.

Local sources said that a large number of zionist troops stormed at dawn Balata refugee camp and the eastern area of Nablus City.

The ZOF used a drone to attack local residents with tear gas canisters during the clashes near Joseph’s Tomb in eastern Nablus.

According to the Red Crescent, four young men were injured by rubber bullets, 12 others, including a journalist, suffered from their exposure to tear gas and one young man had hand burns during the events in the city. (ILKHA)
