According to the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), at least 5,663 Ukrainian civilians were killed in Russian attacks.
OHCHR said that it believes that the actual figures are considerably higher, as the receipt of information from some locations where intense hostilities have been going on has been delayed and many reports are still pending corroboration.
Since Russian aggression began, more than 12 million Ukrainians have been displaced by the war, most of them within the country. (ILKHA)
