HÜDA PAR calls on Turkish government to halt its normalization steps with zionist regime
“No promise and national interest are more important and valuable than the cause of Jerusalem,” said HÜDA PAR (Free Cause Party) spokesman.
In his party’s weekly statement on domestic and international issues, Serkan Ramanlı, a spokesman for HÜDA PAR, stressed that any normalization steps with zionist occupation regime will weaken Palestine's cause.
Ramanlı reminded that after the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as the so-called capital of the zionist regime in 2018, Turkey had taken a tough stance and recalled its ambassador from Tel Aviv in reaction to the decision.
Ramanlı stated that since then relations have been maintained only at the level of charge d'affaires, but as a result of the normalization of relations with the occupation regime, the two sides have decided to appoint a mutual ambassador and consul general. Thus, the relations with the Zionist regime were raised to the level of full diplomatic representation.
Ramanlı said: “The Zionist regime is a gang that comes to life by killing Palestinians and occupying their lands and continues this. It is never a respectable state and country. The Zionist regime should not be treated like this in any field or platform. Every relationship to be established with this regime and every step to be taken will weaken and isolate the cause of Jerusalem, legitimize the occupation, and bring new occupations and massacres with it.”
Pointing out that the Zionist regime is a security threat not only for Palestine but also for the whole geography, including Turkey, Ramanlı said: “The relations to be established will not be for the benefit of our people and our country, but on the contrary, it will be against them. Defending the cause of Jerusalem and the rights of the Palestinians cannot be maintained together with the occupation regime. Defending the cause of Jerusalem means not recognizing the occupation regime, whose name is identified with the occupation and massacres.”
“No promise and national interest are more important and valuable than the cause of Jerusalem. We invite the government and state officials to turn from this wrong and cut all relations with the occupation regime,” Ramanlı underlined. (ILKHA)
