Türkiye’s President Erdoğan to visit Ukraine
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay a one-day working visit to Lviv on August 18, 2022 at the invitation of President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine.
During the talks President Erdoğan will hold with his Ukrainian counterpart, all aspects of the Türkiye-Ukraine relations, which are at a strategic partnership level, will be discussed, according to Turkish presidency.
"Also, a trilateral summit, during which potential steps aimed at increasingly maintaining the activities of the mechanism formed to export the Ukrainian grain to world markets and ending the Ukraine-Russia war through diplomatic avenues will be addressed, is planned to be held as part of the visit with the participation of President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres," the presidency added.
