5.0 magnitude earthquake strikes off Turkey’s Aegean coast
The offshore quake took place at 06:24 TSI on Sunday, according to Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency.
The epicenter of the earthquake was off the Menderes district of Turkey's western Izmir province. Tremor was felt in many cities in the region, including Izmir, Aydın, Muğla, Manisa and Kusadası.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage following the quake. (ILKHA)
