3-day zionist aggression leaves 45 dead in Gaza
The zionist occupation regime’s three-day assault on Gaza has killed 45 Palestinians, including 15 children and four women, and injured 360 more.
The Gaza Government Media Office affirmed that 9 residential buildings were completely destroyed, and more than 1,500 housing units were damaged, of which 16 were completely destroyed.
Earlier Sunday evening, a ceasefire between the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement and zionist occupation regime has come into effect after three days of zionist aggression.
In a press conference held in Tehran, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad Al-Nakhala, had confirmed the truce, but he added that it too "reserves the right to respond" to any aggression.
Al-Nakhala said the ceasefire deal "contains Egypt's commitment to work towards the release of two prisoners".
The pair were named as Bassam al-Saadi, a senior figure in the group's political wing who was recently arrested in the occupied West Bank, and the hunger striker Khalil Awawdeh. (ILKHA)
