Afghan Interior Minister: We should not expect foreigners to build our country
Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, acting Interior Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, during his visit to Helmand called on the local officials, elders, and social figures of the province to join hands in rebuilding the country.
“Foreigners will come to build our country and we should not expect so, it’s time to join hands and build our country on our own,” Haqqani at a gathering in Helmand.
He said that the people of Helmand, like other Afghan peoples, have lost great values during the struggle.
Taking this opportunity, he added that we must use much of those sacrifices to serve people and work for our country’s prosperity.
Haqqani on his visit instructed all the officials to treat the people well and address their problems on time.
He said we identify and invest in the industrial, agricultural, and alternative farming opportunities of this province that we have taken steps for self-determination.
The main struggle today is how we can make effective efforts for a safe and stable Afghanistan together and have a peaceful life with the rest of the world by building a strong Islamic system.
Helmand people and local officials of Helmand once again renewed their promise for full and full support from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The Minister of Interior recently, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, has started his trips to some remote areas of the province to listen to the people’s problems, requests, and suggestions and to attract the officials to their affairs. (ILKHA)
