United States: 4 people critically injured after lightning strike near White House
Four people have been critically injured when a lightning strike outside the White House in Washington, fire officials said on Thursday.
The District of Columbia fire and emergency medical services department said that 4 people were critically injured in Lafayette Park.
“Apparent lightning strike Lafayette Park NW. #DCsBravest on scene in the process of treating and transporting 4 patients, all in critical condition. #DCsBravest transported 2 adult males & 2 adult females to area hospitals. All had critical life-threatening injuries,” the department tweeted. (ILKHA)
