Wreckage of missing Pakistan army helicopter found with no survivors
The Wreckage of Pakistan Army helicopter which lost contact with ATC Monday while on flood relief operations found, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced in a posting on Twitter.
“All 6 officers/soldiers on board including Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali Commander 12 Corps embraced shahadat,” ISPR said, adding that the accident occurred due to bad weather as per initial investigations
On Monday night, the ISPR had said that the helicopter had been on a flood relief operation in Lasbela, Balochistan when it lost contact with air traffic control.
“Six individuals were on board, including Commander 12 Corps who was supervising flood relief operations in Balochistan,” it said. (ILKHA)
