Russian forces hit two-story house, university in Kharkiv, mayor says
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that Russian forces hit a two-story house and a university at 4:09 a.m. on Friday.
A two-story house and a university building were damaged in the attacks.
“The State Emergency Service is working on the scene. There is no information on casualties at the moment,” Terekhov said on Telegram.
Kharkiv, the second-largest city and municipality in Ukraine, has been the site of heavy fighting between the Ukrainian and Russian forces since Russian aggression began.
The battle for the city has been described as one of the deadliest battles in the invasion, with a Ukrainian presidential advisor describing it as the “Stalingrad of the 21st century.” (ILKHA)
