Islamic Emirate seeks stability for Afghanistan and world—Foreign Minister
Afghan Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi attended an international conference on Afghanistan in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
The conference has been held with the participation of delegations from more than 20 countries and international organizations.
“After several decades of instability in Afghanistan, the Islamic Emirate is determined to turn Afghanistan into a center of peace, stability, and economic cooperation. The Islamic Emirate seeks stability for Afghanistan and the world. Stability in Afghanistan not only guarantees stability in the region but is the key to prosperity and economic development in the region”, Muttaqi said at the conference.
Underlining that one of the primary goals of the IEA in foreign policy is economic centralization, Muttaqi said: “It is time for Afghanistan to become the bridge of Asia. Stable security, strong political will, and transparent administrative structure of the Islamic Emirate have paved the way for regional connectivity. Afghanistan is the closest and economical trade route between Central and South Asia.” (ILKHA)
