Ukraine to resume grain exports from port of Chornomorsk
Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Yuriy Vaskov, said Monday that the resumption of Ukraine’s grain exports would begin from the port of Chornomorsk.
"Within the 24 hours, we will be ready to work on resuming exports of agricultural products from our ports. We are talking about the port of Chornomorsk - it will be the first. The next will be Odesa and then - the port of Pivdennyi," Vaskov said at a briefing at the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center.
On july 22, the United Nations, Russia, Ukraine, and Turkey signed agreements intended to secure exports via the Black Sea of grain from both countries and fertilizer from Russia, to ease shortages in developing countries.
The next day, Russia fired missiles at the port city of Odessa, through which Ukrainian grain flows. (ILKHA)
