HÜDA PAR founder Fadıl Şani passes away at age 57
Fadıl Şani, one of the founders of HÜDA PAR (Free Cause Party), passed away at the hospital where he was being treated.
Two days ago, Fadıl Şani was taken to the intensive care unit of İzmir Katip Çelebi Research Hospital due to lung conditions.
Şani had suffered from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) for about thirty years.
Who was Fadıl Şani?
He was born in the Mazidağ District of Turkey’s southeastern Mardin province in 1965.
In the 90s, he was forced to leave his hometown and migrate after he had been subjected to persecution, threats, and torture at the hands of illegal groups in the Turkish government.
He was among the founding members of HüDA PAR, which announced its establishment in December 2012.
Şani penned the book called “Bats” and also wrote many poems.
He was married and had a daughter. (ILKHA)
