Afghanistan imports liquefied gas from Turkmenistan to beat gas price hikes

Officials at the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan say with the entry of the purchased gas into the country’s markets the price of gas will be decreased significantly.

Lately, Afghan citizens around the country witness a hike increase in fuel prices, including gas and oil.

In the meantime, a kilo of liquid gas sold 80 Afs, and a liter of petrol costs 89 in the markets of the country.

On Saturday, the country’s Finance Ministry announced that 350,000 tons of fuel will import from Iran, already contracted, and in accordance, the price of fuel will decline. (ILKHA)
