Russia, Ukraine to sign grain shipment deal in Istanbul
The Turkish presidency said that a deal on a U.N. plan to unblock the exports of Ukrainian grain amid the war and to allow Russia to export grain and fertilizers will be signed in Istanbul on Friday.
“The signing ceremony of the Grain Shipment Agreement will be held at the Dolmabahçe Office at 16.30 tomorrow with the participation of the Ukrainian and Russian sides, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres,” the presidency said.
“Ukrainian and Russian sides, Erdoğan and UN Secretary-General Guterres will be present at the Grain Shipment Agreement signing ceremony to be held in Istanbul tomorrow,” it added. (ILKHA)
