Afghanistan: Security forces kill 3 ISIS members in Kunduz
The perpetrators of missile attacks on the border areas of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan were killed and arrested during an operation in Khanabad, Kunduz late on Saturday said the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid.
Mujahid in a series of tweets said that “the security forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan launched an operation late on Saturday and as a result three ISIS fighters killed and five others were arrested.”
He said some military equipment and a vehicle were seized during the operation.
Lately, the Perpetrators fired some missiles near the borders of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, that were accordingly targeted by the Islamic Emirate forces in Khanabad a district of Kunduz province, added the spokesman, Mujahid.
In a videotape, one of the arrested people confessed that ISIS provided them with ammunition.
The Islamic Emirate once again proved that they stay committed that Afghan soil will be no harm to any country, especially its neighbors, said Mujahid.
The Islamic Emirate believed that stability in the region is in the interest of all and commit to not allowing any rioters groups to use Afghan soil against others. (ILKHA)
